The community pool at the Beach Club at Whalehead is one of the standout amenities available to guests staying at Sonoma’s Hideaway, offering a perfect place to relax, cool off, and enjoy the Outer Banks sunshine. This spacious, beautifully maintained pool area is ideal for both families and couples, whether you’re taking a refreshing swim or lounging poolside.

Designed with both kids and adults in mind, the pool features a shallow end of just 2 feet—perfect for younger swimmers—and gradually deepens to 5 feet for a comfortable experience for all. The pool is heated, allowing for enjoyable swims even on cooler days, and is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Poolside Cabanas

The cabanas at the Beach Club at Whalehead offer a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, creating a private, shaded retreat just steps from the pool. Available in three different sizes, they can accommodate everything from couples to larger families looking for their own relaxing space.

Each cabana is equipped with a television, electricity, a refrigerator, and comfortable sofa seating, making it easy to spend the entire day poolside in comfort. Whether you're cooling off in the shade, watching TV, or enjoying time together, the cabanas elevate your entire pool experience.

While cabanas do require a rental, they provide a premium experience with your own dedicated space to relax and recharge. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and snacks, or you can take advantage of convenient food and drink delivery directly to your cabana from The Salty Rim.
